What we collect

Account details: your email address and sign-in information when you create an account.

Your styling content: photos you upload, styling requests and preferences, saved looks, your current look, Wishlist items, closet items, your Style Profile answers, What Vina Knows memories and Talk to Vina conversations.

Usage and safety records: how many Looks, Swaps and messages you use, and records of AI requests and their costs, so we can apply allowances and prevent abuse.

Guests: a random identifier stored in your browser lets us apply the guest trial. We don't ask guests for a name or email.

AI processing of your photos and requests

To style you, your photos, requests, preferences and relevant style profile, memories and closet details are sent to AI models through the Lovable AI Gateway. This includes analysing garment photos to describe the piece. They are used to produce your styling result.

Where your information is stored

For signed-in members, closet photos are stored in private cloud storage, and your account information, saved looks, profile, memories and conversations are stored in our private database. Access is restricted to your own account.

Your current look is also kept in your browser for up to 24 hours. We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Shopping

To find products, Vina sends search descriptions (such as the type of piece, colour and budget) to a retail product catalogue. Product links lead to independent retailers' websites, which have their own privacy policies. We don't share your photos or account details with retailers.

Payments

VINA+ payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details are entered with Stripe and are not stored by Vina. We keep a record of your membership status, billing period and payment outcome so we can provide VINA+. Stripe keeps payment records under its own privacy policy and legal obligations.

How long we keep information

We keep your account information until you delete it or your account. You can delete individual looks, closet items, memories and conversations at any time.

Guest styling data and the browser copy of your current look expire after a short period.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account from My Vina → Account. Any VINA+ membership is cancelled with Stripe first; if cancellation can't be confirmed, the account is not deleted. This permanently removes your account, saved looks, closet items and closet photos, Style Profile, memories, Wishlist and conversations.

Some limited records may remain after deletion: anonymised AI cost totals used to protect the service, payment records held by Stripe, and information in routine backups until they expire on their normal schedule.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Vina evolves. When we make meaningful changes, we'll update this page.
